Your Role As a Gensler Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the Europe regional Accounts Payable function and assist the Regional Finance Director with cash management, budgets and P&L. Your success lies in being highly organised, data-driven, and passionate about delivering a high degree of customer service to meet the needs of internal customers and business partners. You will work with a team of collaborative colleagues as well as partner with the Regional Finance Director to analyse financial information and optimise planning and performance. What You Will Do Supervise Accounts Payable to support efficient workflows and monitor employee expenses, travel and credit card statements for the Europe region Check and approve payment runs, ensuring a timely and accurate service Conduct monthly reviews of fixed asset registers Assist the Regional Finance Director with cash management and update weekly cash projections Support month end tasks and the preparation of P&L across multiple currencies and entities Review costs for variances and produce costs accruals Collate all necessary information for National Statistics reporting Work with the Regional Finance Director to monitor spending and create budgets Review the monthly set of balance sheets, raising queries where necessary. Collaborate with the Finance team to clear the reconciling items Perform an annual audit and respond to related questions Your Qualifications Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Accounting or Business Administration 8+ years of management accounting experience in a professional service firm, preferably an architecture or design firm Highly proficient in Excel Audit experience is essential Experience with Deltek Vision and Coupa software is highly beneficial Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI and data analytics is advantageous Strong organizational skills, high level of accuracy, and keen attention to detail Ability to effectively work in a high-volume environment under pressure with multiple tasks and strict deadlines Willingness to embrace new technologies and constantly strive for greater efficiencies through process or technology Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work as a team and interact professionally with employees, clients and vendors Life at Gensler We encourage every person at Gensler to lead a healthy and balanced life.
