You'll work to support the growth of our UK Government portfolio, ensuring outstanding customer outcomes. Key Accountabilities: Support the continued growth of the UK Government portfolio, working directly with the Head of Sector and Director to provide outstanding customer outcomes. Manage day-to-day client queries, oversee onboarding processes and act as the initial escalation point for service and delivery issues. You'll build long-term client relationships, being attentive, observant and understanding of customers' needs. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction and help the team retain market-leading NPS scores. Engage in client relationships and business management activities such as client analysis, preparation of presentations, submissions to business/credit committees and team P&L management. Compile performance data, portfolio commentary and analytical material for meetings or in response to client inquiries. Stay Informed about key market and regulatory developments, establish knowledge of the target client base and relevant market dynamics and review, evaluate and mitigate potential risks. What You'll Need: Communication: Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills. Analysis: Strong analytical financial analysis skills, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of cash management and payments, with good knowledge of lending and markets products. Experience: Previous experience in a client-facing or Coverage role, with prior experience in the Government sector being preferable. Curiosity: Intellectual curiosity in the UK Government & British Overseas Territories banking sector, combined with a strong work ethic. Operational Knowledge: Strong operational banking knowledge, including Reputational Risk, Client Servicing, cross-border, KYC and Onboarding.
