Lloyd is seeking to recruit a Business Continuity Planning Associate. You will provide key support to the Service Resilience and Risk team and ensure that appropriate business continuity arrangements are in place and tested for all Corporation departments and International Offices. Principal Accountabilities Ensure that effective communication and knowledge is maintained with the Business Continuity Representatives in the Corporation and Global Offices. Maintain and develop the BIA data, held in a database and Excel spreadsheets, to ensure it is up- to-date and easily accessible during a major incident. Ensure training and awareness is provided to all staff and stakeholders on Operational Resilience and Business Continuity. Maintain the Crisis Management documentation and supporting tools including the regular exercises that ensure the crisis management teams are prepared. Maintain and develop the Business Continuity Plans, held in SharePoint and Word documents, to ensure that they are up-to-date and easily accessible during a major incident. Plan, deliver and follow up on tests and exercises using a range of methodologies that will identify gaps in knowledge and capability. Deliver objectives to the agreed quality, on time and within budget, monitoring and reporting on completion and supporting tasks, with particular reference to risks and dependencies. Maintain an appropriate level of knowledge of Business Continuity issues and approaches so as to be able to provide support and guidance. Maintain an appropriate level of knowledge of the Market business continuity capabilities to be able to provide support and guidance, where necessary. Act a “Voice of the Customer” for the Service Resilience and Risk function. Skills Knowledge and Experience Track record of experience in Business Continuity in a similar role. Knowledge of Business Continuity Management and industry standards. Project management. Ability to implement appropriate solutions and arrangements for effective and practical mitigation and recovery plans. Ability to communicate clearly understood ownership of BC deliverables and processes within the relevant business and infrastructure areas. Presentation skills. Complex stakeholder management. Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. Experience understanding and participate in projects to improve business continuity processes. Ability to handle a diverse range of priorities and tasks in parallel. Experience of coping with change in a positive and constructive manner.
