We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Clinical Skills and Simulation Technician to join our growing team.

You will be instrumental in ensuring our Clinical Simulation and Skills Centres operate at the highest standard, providing essential technical support and organizational expertise.
What the Role Entails:
- Spearheading the daily organization and technical upkeep of our state-of-the-art Clinical Simulation and Skills Centres.
- Expertly setting up rooms and equipment for a diverse range of teaching sessions.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of clinical skills equipment.
- Actively assisting in the delivery, evaluation, monitoring, and quality control of teaching and learning provisions.
- Collaborating with a team to deliver a highly efficient technician support service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring optimal utilization, preparation, organization, and maintenance of equipment and resources.
- Facilitating equipment requests and providing crucial support in the appropriate use of equipment.
- Assisting in the preparation of teaching and learning materials, ensuring compliance with all relevant processes and procedures across multiple sites.

Key Considerations for Candidates:
- Physical Demands: Please note that this role involves frequent lifting, moving, and handling of bulky and heavy skills equipment, such as hospital beds, manikins, and part-task trainers. Candidates should be physically capable of undertaking these tasks.
- Employment Structure: For successful candidates not currently employed by the University of Worcester, employment will be through our wholly owned subsidiary, Uniworc Limited. This ensures you are part of a recognized employment structure with access to a defined contribution pension scheme (subject to eligibility).
- Visa Sponsorship: This particular role does not meet the minimum salary requirements for visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route. Therefore, we are unable to consider applicants who will require sponsorship to work in the UK.
- Salary: The starting salary for this position is between £24,193 and £25,733 per annum, with potential for incremental increases.
