<p><strong>Working Hours: Full time position, core office hours with some flexibility </strong><br><strong>Work Location: EMA Cargo West, East Midlands Airport, Derby, DE74 2TR</strong><br><strong>Salary: Competitive</strong><o:p></o:p></p> <p>DHL Air (UK) is the largest all-cargo air carrier in the UK, operating a fleet of B757-200, B767-300 & B777-200 aircraft on worldwide operations. Someone who gets it right 1st time, shows passion in their work and has the “Can Do” spirit that made DHL world leading in Logistics.<o:p></o:p></p> <p>Reporting to the Head of Compliance and Safety, the Compliance Managers primary role is to ensure that the companys operations, maintenance and training activities are monitored for compliance with the applicable regulatory requirements, and any additional requirements as established by DHL Air (UK) Ltd. Other duties include but are not limited to;</p> <ul> <li><o:p></o:p>Managing the corporate compliance monitoring system and compliance monitoring programme</li> <li>Ensuring that audits and inspections are conducted by personnel qualified and independent of the subject area</li> <li>Conducting Compliance Monitoring Audits / Inspections and ensures that the required corrective and preventative actions are taken by the relevant manager(s)</li> <li>Ensuring that where audit findings have been issued that adequate closure actions are satisfactorily implemented within the prescribed time limits</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li><o:p></o:p>The candidate must be appropriately qualified and acceptable to the UK CAA to act as the Compliance Monitoring Manager as detailed in UK Regulation Part CAMO.A.200, UK Regulation Part 145.A.200 and EASA Regulation Part 145.A.200</li> <li>Ideally hold 3 years management experience in an airline or maintenance repair organisation and some of that time spent in a Quality/Compliance environment</li> <li>In depth knowledge of aviation regulations</li> <li>Higher-level educational qualification such as being the holder of or have held a relevant licence (Licensed Engineer) representative of similar aircraft types and complexity operated by DHL Air (UK) Ltd or an equivalent aeronautical engineering / technical degree</li> <li>Preferably trained to an acceptable standard to qualify as an auditor</li> </ul> <p><strong>The Person:</strong><o:p></o:p></p> <ul> <li><!--[endif]-->Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels</li> <li>Proven ability to develop, train and manage staff</li> <li>Ability to plan, prioritise and balance a variety of work</li> <li>Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills, including timely identification and resolution of issues, skilled information gathering and analysis, and development of alternative or pragmatic solutions.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What youll get in return</strong><o:p></o:p></p> <p>A competitive salary and access to a variety of our excellent benefits including a company pension scheme and private healthcare.<o:p></o:p></p> <p><strong>What you'll need to do next?</strong><o:p></o:p></p> <p>If you are interested in the role of Compliance Manager and you are looking for your next career move, simply apply online ensuring that a full up to date CV and cover letter is attached with your application detailing how you meet the requirements of the role.<o:p></o:p></p> <p><em>We will ensure that all our resourcing activities are fair, transparent and consistent across the UK.
