An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated leader to join the Trent XWB Commercial Aviation Value Stream team as Product Service Manager. With over 600 aircraft in service and a growing orderbook of 1300 aircraft, the Trent XWB Value Stream covers the full scope of activity for both engines in service and development. This provides a unique opportunity to develop business breadth, lead a team and play a pivotal role in delivering Rolls-Royce financial commitments. This position, reporting to the Senior Vice President - Fleet Management, will lead and integrate the overall aftermarket fleet performance to our customers. Working with Aftermarket Operations, Portfolio Planning, Value Stream and Customer facing teams, this role will identify, understand, and address product related issues that impact the aftermarket operational and financial plans, as well as the long term business plan goals. What you will be doing: Lead and develop a team of Product Service Officers and Fleet Planners Deliver in-year and long-term Value Stream Profit & Loss and Cash targets through optimised delivery of the operational plan, and execution of Product strategies Achieve the required levels of long-term fleet health and profitability, through the co-ordination of key Value Stream led activity, e.g. removal policies and planning, lease pool sizing, identification and impact assessments of product risks, allocation policies. Integrate overall Trent XWB fleet performance to ensure clear understanding of deviations to plan and drive optimisation/ mitigation action across the wider team to improve fleet health and maintain contractual spare engine availability Work closely with the Customer Regional teams and Airframer in communicating policies, risks and mitigations, and where necessary providing input to or supporting customer reviews Articulate customer line of balance scenarios, based on demand policy or supply variables, and provide recommendations Own the Aftermarket Demand Planning Policy and set the demand signal for maintenance event planning including overhaul base and in-field activities, as part of the SIOP process and secure buy-off with CEO-2/ CEO-3 stakeholders Own and manage fleet issues and containment / modification campaigns including Major Event Centre support Work in conjunction with the Trent XWB Fleet Management team and Aftermarket Operations to deliver âfirst of typeâ and readiness programmes in support of fleet growth, product lifecycle milestones and MRO network expansion Who weâre looking for: Previous experience or knowledge of service delivery, MRO or operations in R-R Understanding of Product Time on Wing drivers, fleet health and MRO practices Personal drive and motivation to reconcile different business objectives through excellent collaboration and innovative problem-solving skills Ability to deal with ambiguity and apply logical thinking to support creation of recommendations to achieve business goals Ability to communicate succinctly & influence senior stakeholder groups Experience of personally delivering and engaging diverse teams in performance improvement with pace Level C Hiring Manager - Louise Clark For this role we are open to discussing flexibility and explore what possible for the role Job Category Service Management Posting Date 31 Mar 2025; 00:03 Posting End Date 13 Apr 2025 Rolls-Royce pioneers cutting-edge technologies that deliver the cleanest, safest and most competitive solutions to our planet vital power needs.
