  • Proactively communicating any customs holds or delays to customers, managing expectations and providing solutions.
  • Escalating complex document-related customs clearance issues to the Customs Clearance Manager for swift resolution.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, offering expert guidance on customs procedures and regulations.
  • Accurately checking goods classification against the UK Trade Tariff.
  • Verifying proofs of origin to support preferential trade agreements and duty relief claims.
  • Ensuring all customs clearance jobs are invoiced correctly and on time, maintaining financial accuracy.
  • Undertaking additional duties as required to support the broader business operations, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to team success.
