In this role you will work within the Supply Chain Services Team providing subject matter expertise on business data governance. You will work with colleagues across the business to ensure that GSK strategic transformation programs build in the data governance foundations essential to delivering our digital ambition. Using your business data governance knowledge, experience and skills you will develop the policies, procedures, roles and ways of working that will be built into our future operations. Having a keen focus on value outcomes and end user experience you will work collaboratively to translate program data governance requirements into a planned set of data governance deliverables. You will be an energetic and passionate advocate of data governance who can talk detail with Tech teams but also have the skill to keep it simple when influencing senior business leaders. Design and implement robust data governance frameworks that align with business goals. Partner with stakeholders to establish data policies, standards, and best practices across the organization. Work with Tech teams to identify and deploy data governance tools within the integrated data ecosystem. Ensure data ownership, accountability, and quality across all business units Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives for business data management. Why you? Basic Qualifications, Experience & Skills: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: BSc in Data or Science related degree Possess a strong understanding of data governance principles and their practical application in business operations. Demonstrated experience in developing and executing data governance policies within a corporate setting. Proven skills in stakeholder collaboration and change management to embed governance frameworks effectively. Proficient in data quality management, business process optimization, and compliance standards. Familiar with modern data governance platforms such as Collibra, Atacama, Informatica, and Global IDs. Preferred Qualifications & Skills: Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply: Proven track record of working within highly regulated industries. Experience in data governance within a supply chain organization. Familiarity with ERP systems and their associated master data processes. Skilled in identifying and managing risks related to data governance and business operations. Experience in data analytics or reporting to support governance objectives and drive insights. Understanding of Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
