Role Summary The Digital Project Lead is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of digital projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, timelines, and budgets. This role combines project management expertise with financial administration, governance oversight, and procurement review to drive efficiency and accountability across digital initiatives. Key Responsibilities Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of digital projects, ensuring they meet business requirements and stakeholder expectations. Develop and maintain project timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Identify and mitigate risks, managing project dependencies and resolving roadblocks proactively. Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment. Monitor project performance, implementing improvements where necessary to optimize efficiency. Finance Tracking & Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, tracking actual vs. forecasted expenditures to maintain financial control. Provide regular financial reports, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions. Work closely with finance teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting. Governance & Compliance: Develop, maintain, and update governance documentation, ensuring adherence to internal policies, processes and regulations. Establish and implement best practices for project governance, ensuring transparency and accountability. Coordinate project audits and compliance checks, addressing any identified gaps or risks. Procurement & Purchase Order Administration: Review and approve purchase orders related to digital projects, ensuring compliance with procurement policies. Maintain accurate records of purchases orders, ensuring financial accountability and process efficiency. Key Skills & Experience Proven experience leading digital projects, preferably within a corporate or enterprise setting. Experience in budget tracking and financial reporting. Knowledge of governance frameworks and compliance Familiarity with procurement processes, including purchase order management and vendor negotiations. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly. Proficiency in project management Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Finance, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is desirable.
