Aon has an exciting opportunity to join the Delegated Consulting Services (DCS) team in London as a Portfolio Manager. This includes fully discretionary mandates where you will ensure that house views are reflected in portfolios in a consistent and timely manner. This includes OCIO mandates where DCS does all the implementation of mandates, but the investment decisions (eg strategic asset allocation, tactical asset allocation, manager selection) can be made either by the client (under Aon’s advice) or DCS. For such mandates, you will work with clients, their investment consultant, and operations teams to create portfolios and governance structures that meet the client’s needs. You will supervise portfolios on an ongoing basis to ensure they comply with restrictions. You will help draft client instruction letters, plan transitions and trades, and execute trades via Bloomberg. You will drive high level client messaging about portfolio positioning, performance, and the investment outlook. You will be a trusted expert that meets with clients and third-party evaluators to explain the mandate structure and suggest ways to make it more efficient.
