JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role is key to supporting the Office of the CTO in optimizing, scaling, and harmonizing operational performance across the technology organization. This leader is responsible for driving operational excellence, support the alignment of ways of working through change management, improving cross-functional collaboration, and enabling efficient decision-making. The role bridges technology, finance, people, strategy, comms, audit & compliance and M&A delivery management to ensure strategic priorities translate into measurable business outcomes.

This role will have a small team of which to support its outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy

Lead operational planning cycles including OKR frameworks, Budget and recruitment in collaboration with Technology leadership, Finance, Procurement and HR business partners. Oversee and ensure execution against Location Strategy and Cost Optimization in partnership with Finance, HR and Technology Leadership. Lead annual workforce planning and capacity management including contingent contracts, vendor resourcing and new FTEs Lead M&A Planning for acquisitions and divestments (company integrations and separations), working in collaboration with Corp Dev M&A and Technology teams that need to execute within their functions. Lead, implement and manage the Technology Comms strategy Establish scalable processes and governance models to manage technology deliverables and engagement across stakeholders including Comms, Vendor Management and Portfolio Office. Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure any Technology marketing and sales material are consistent and up to date. Evaluate operational investments and lead ROI analysis for new tools, systems, and staffing strategies.

Business Operations

Support preparation of technology presentation materials for Town Halls, Boards and Clients as needed. Support and partner with Portfolio Lead and Technology Leaders to monitor project timelines, budgets, and interdependencies. Set up and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across Technology Ensure data-driven decision-making and standardized reporting across global teams – including leading the operational committee for technology Provide coordination in support of audit and compliance reporting requirements Support talent development, and organizational design initiatives.

PROFILE

10+ years in business operations, strategic operations, technology delivery management, or similar roles within the financial services sector. Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-growing and dynamic environment, especially in industries that are undergoing rapid digit transformation. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2) Strong analytical and financial acumen, including KPI design, budgeting, and forecasting. Proficient in MS Excel and data analysis and reporting (Power BI) Proficient PowerPoint presentation skills Proven success driving large-scale operational transformation initiatives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skill, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as C-level executives

EXPERIENCE

Experience in Technology delivery, with a good understanding about how technology engineering teams work Experience working with OKR frameworks Experience in vendor governance and oversight Experience in resource and capacity management across diverse workforce strategies (Internal, contractors and vendor resources) Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related field preferred
