You’ll create high‑quality learning delivered both in person and virtually, with powerful immersion events for senior leaders and accessible programmes for all employees. As an Instructional Design & Content Lead, you’ll play a vital role in shaping learning experiences that empower our people. This is your chance to make a real impact on how we learn, dream and grow at Bupa. Key Responsibilities: Create engaging learning activities and course content that improve retention and real‑world application, using digital tools where they add value. Design implementation materials (for example, facilitator guides, train‑the‑trainer—packs, and learner materials) for instructor‑led sessions and case study breakouts. Write and edit storyboards for videos and online modules when needed. Choose the right approach for each programme—whether classroom, blended or e‑learning—so objectives are met. Partner with SMEs (subject matter experts) and business stakeholders to build content aligned to learning goals. Lead content and quality reviews; manage third‑party providers and maintain strong supplier relationships. Curate content in our LXP (Learning Experience Platform), use authoring tools, and apply education technologies smartly. Implement evaluation strategies, capture feedback, and evidence impact (ROI) and course satisfaction. Assess existing materials and “off‑the‑shelf” options; oversee programme implementation and occasionally facilitate senior leader sessions. What We’re Looking For: Experience working within a large global matrix organisation, designing for a global audience Demonstrated track record of success in designing and delivering learning solutions aligned to business strategy Credible track record of creating and designing high-quality learning with evidence of measurable learner performance Significant experience designing and/or developing asynchronous e-learning content and activities, including the creation of storyboards or similar visual planning tools. Experience delivering and facilitating complex learning interventions with senior stakeholders and participants. Substantial understanding and application of learning/ instructional design frameworks, e-learning and distance learning pedagogy and principles, and/or pedagogical or adult learning theory and evidence High level ability to select information relevant to specified learners and to present complex ideas clearly and creatively in a logical, coherent way. A clear passion for learning, curiosity and staying ahead of industry trends Digital and technology savvy: Up to date with latest learning trends and tools, including LX technologies, with ability to work with the latest technologies.
