Lead Business Finance Controller (6-Month Fixed Term Contract)

Join Our Team as Lead Business Finance Controller. Are you ready to embark on a career that blends strategic leadership, financial expertise, and innovation? Schindler UK & Ireland is seeking a dynamic and accomplished Lead Business Finance Controller to join us on a fixed-term contract for 9 months. Based at our Addlestone Office with hybrid working, you’ll drive excellence and transformation within our finance operations. This is a full-time role working Monday through to Friday, 37 hours a week.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Take ownership of the business P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards and maximising cash flow. Lead month-end processes, ensuring accurate financial records and fostering transparency for audits. Partner with business leaders to deliver strategic insights and drive profitability improvements. Develop relationships with customers to negotiate and drive commercial success. Support continuous improvement in finance processes and operational excellence.

What We’re Looking For:

A qualified finance professional (CIMA, ACCA) with 7+ years of experience. Expertise in financial controlling, management, and process improvement. Advanced Excel skills; experience in SAP and Power BI is a plus. Industry knowledge in construction, services, or related fields. Outstanding communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
