The University of Sunderland in London, based at Canary Wharf, boasts a vibrant and diverse community of staff and students. We consider ourselves as an innovative satellite campus and are constantly evolving and have exciting plans for 2025 and beyond!
We are currently piloting a four-day working week which allows our colleagues to work 32 hours over 4 days per week with no reduction in pay. The pilot is part of our ongoing efforts to create a positive and inclusive workplace that promotes work-life balance and allows our colleagues to thrive professionally and personally whilst maintaining our commitment to delivering high-quality service to all our students.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Lecturer, you will be developing and delivering educational activities on the MSc International Business Management programme, teaching a variety of Business Management subjects and equipping our students with a mastery of international business contexts. Alongside the Senior Lecturer/Programme Manager, you will also contribute to the shaping and promotion of teaching and related research and external engagement activities related to the Programme.
To be successful in this role, you will have extensive and specific experience teaching Postgraduate Business in Higher Education, as well as subject specific experience in either Human Resources, Marketing or Management (see Role Profile for more details). You will need to be committed and able to provide a high-quality teaching and learning experience for all students. In addition, strong teamwork and collaboration skills are a must. We currently have four intakes per year and therefore you must be able manage workload with processes and projects concurrently. A Higher Education Teaching qualification and experience and/or a profile within related industry or professional practice would be considered valuable to this role.
