We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and motivated Lecturer in Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) to join our growing Pharmacy team within the School of Health and Care Sciences, part of the College of Health and Science.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a collaborative and innovative academic community with a strong commitment to high-quality, student-centred education and impactful professional development. Our pharmacy provision is expanding and includes successful undergraduate and postgraduate programmes such as the Master of Pharmacy (MPharm), Independent Prescribing, and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

The post offers a chance to shape the future of pharmacy education in Lincolnshire and beyond, supporting the development of skilled, confident, and practice-ready graduates who will meet the evolving needs of healthcare systems and the pharmaceutical sector.

As a Lecturer in Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics), you will:

Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of modules across the MPharm and BSc Pharmaceutical Sciences programmesEngage in interdisciplinary curriculum development within the School and wider CollegeSupport students academically and pastorally, acting as a personal tutor and project supervisorParticipate in scholarly activity, professional practice, or pedagogical development aligned to the School’s ambitionsCollaborate with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to enhance the educational experience and student outcomes

Depending on your background, this role offers scope to develop a strong academic profile in pharmacy education or professional practice, including working closely with professional bodies, industry partners, and community stakeholders.

A strong academic or professional background in pharmaceutics or a closely related fieldA passion for teaching and learning and a commitment to student successAn interest in curriculum development and delivering high-quality, inclusive educationA collaborative and flexible approach, with excellent communication and organisational skillsA willingness to contribute to the School’s scholarly activity, industry engagement, and the wider academic mission
