We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to lead our Post Award Research Office (PARO). This is a pivotal role in supporting the University’s research-active community and driving the successful delivery of externally funded research projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the PARO team to provide a high-quality, timely, and knowledgeable Post Award service to academic staff, Directors of Research, Research Leads, and Impact Champions.Oversee all aspects of post-award project management including project setup, implementation, financial control, audit, and compliance.Maintain expert knowledge of external funders’ reporting requirements to ensure robust financial and regulatory compliance.Work with research and enterprise colleagues to coordinate the development of new research initiatives, fostering internal and external collaborations.Support tailored development activities for specific academic cohorts including PGR students, Early Career Researchers, and the Professoriate.Act as a key liaison between the Research and Enterprise Directorate, College Executive Offices, and other internal and external stakeholders.You will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in research administration and leadership.
