Your Impact on the Team:

As a key member of the Biggin Hill team, your contributions will be vital to maintaining the highest standards of aviation excellence. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Adhering strictly to Bombardier's Maintenance Organization Procedures (MOE) and applicable work instructions.
  • Championing and complying with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Performing all maintenance tasks safely, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
  • Meticulously documenting all work completed in accordance with approved maintenance data, such as aircraft maintenance manuals.
  • Utilizing company procedures to identify defective aircraft components and accurately ordering parts via SAP.
  • Carrying out maintenance tasks under the supervision of Certifying Staff/Support Staff, ensuring adherence to specified standards.
  • Proactively notifying supervisors of any defects or mistakes requiring rectification to maintain required maintenance standards.
  • Properly processing removed, uninstalled, and rejected parts.
  • Correcting defects under the guidance of Certifying Staff/Support Staff and reporting any maintenance errors.
  • Upholding Bombardier's core values in all aspects of your work.

Key Considerations for Candidates:

  • Demonstrated Experience: Recent experience (ideally within the last 3 years for a minimum of 6 months) in a line maintenance environment is essential.
  • Business Aircraft Proficiency: Prior experience working on business aircraft is highly desirable.
  • Essential Qualifications: Holding an A License is a prerequisite for this role.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: A basic understanding of Appendix I to Part-66 requirements and solid knowledge of Part-145 regulations are expected.
  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with EWIS and CDCCL (when relevant), along with a strong understanding and practice of human factors, human performance, and limitations, will be advantageous.
  • Practical Skills: The ability to interpret engineering drawings, effectively communicate task status, and proficiently use standard and special tools, as well as operate ground support equipment, is crucial.
  • Safety Focus: You must be adept at identifying and rectifying existing and potential unsafe conditions, with experience in understanding critical tasks.
  • Logistical Requirements: Basic PC skills are necessary, and a valid UK Driving License is mandatory as the role involves airside driving.
