What You'll Be Doing:

  • Adhering to Bombardier's stringent Maintenance Organization Procedures (MOP) and applicable work instructions to ensure the highest standards of safety and compliance.
  • Upholding Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, demonstrating a commitment to a secure and responsible working environment.
  • Performing maintenance tasks efficiently and safely, meticulously documenting all work undertaken in accordance with approved maintenance data.
  • Utilizing company procedures to identify defective aircraft components and ordering necessary parts.
  • Carrying out maintenance tasks under the supervision of Certifying and Support Staff, with a proactive approach to identifying and rectifying any defects.
  • Reporting any discrepancies or maintenance errors promptly and accurately.
  • Processing removed, uninstalled, and rejected parts correctly.
  • Undertaking assigned duties with professionalism and dedication.

Important Considerations for Aspiring Candidates:

  • Recent Line Maintenance Experience: Demonstrable recent experience (ideally within the last 3 years for a minimum of 6 months) in a line maintenance environment is crucial.
  • Business Aircraft Specialization: Prior experience working specifically on business aircraft is highly valued.
  • A License (Ideal): While not mandatory, an A License is a significant advantage and demonstrates a foundational understanding of aviation maintenance principles.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: A solid understanding of Part-145 regulations and the requirements of Appendix I to Part-66 is essential. Familiarity with EWIS and CDCCL is also beneficial.
  • Human Factors Awareness: A practical understanding and application of human factors, human performance, and limitations are key to ensuring safe operations.
  • Technical Proficiency: The ability to interpret engineering drawings, use standard and special tools, and operate ground support equipment effectively is required.
  • Safety Focus: A strong aptitude for identifying and rectifying both existing and potential unsafe conditions, along with experience understanding critical tasks, is paramount.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are necessary for clear reporting and task status updates.
  • PC Skills: Basic PC proficiency is required for documentation and system interaction.
  • Driving License: A valid UK Driving License is mandatory due to the requirement to drive airside.
