What the Role Entails:
As the Master and Reference Data Strategy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic evolution and adoption of Master and Reference Data within Citi. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the strategic direction and implementation of Master and Reference Data initiatives, collaborating closely with the Data Governance team.
- Leading end-to-end project management for Reference Data initiatives, from requirements gathering to solution implementation.
- Analyzing data models to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and surfacing key themes.
- Reviewing and actively participating in data cleanup efforts, tracking data capture, storage, and consumption.
- Evaluating and improving Business As Usual (BAU) data management processes across the entire data lifecycle.
- Researching external authoritative sources for Reference Data and managing updates to datasets.
- Defining and implementing key documentation and project deliverables with information owners and technology partners.
- Monitoring compliance with Master and Reference Data governance requirements.
- Facilitating the resolution of issues related to Master and Reference Data usage and quality.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to define success metrics and build supporting visualizations and analytics.
- Managing staff, including resource allocation and workload distribution within the team or project.

- Deep Subject Matter Expertise: Significant experience in Master and Reference Data, with a specific focus on Securities and Pricing across various asset classes.
