Your Contributions and Growth Potential

As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer at this esteemed centre, your responsibilities will be crucial to ensuring the continued airworthiness and operational excellence of customer aircraft. You will be instrumental in:

• Performing intricate troubleshooting, repairs, inspections, and comprehensive maintenance on customer aircraft.
• Meticulously documenting all work carried out in strict adherence to the highest industry manuals and regulatory standards.
• Playing a key role in the development of colleagues through training, coaching, and supportive guidance.
• Conducting thorough engine runs and executing complex repairs across various aircraft systems.
• Supervising and mentoring Mechanics, ensuring all maintenance tasks and inspections meet and exceed required standards.
• Releasing maintenance tasks performed by yourself or under your direct supervision, for which you are authorized and trained.
• Authorizing base maintenance tasks performed by yourself or under your supervision, contributing significantly to Certifying Staff Category C functions.
• Undertaking essential maintenance activities at off-site locations when required.
• Assisting in the provision of accurate time estimates for maintenance activities.

• Essential Licensing: A valid UK CAA & EASA Part 66 Aircraft Technician License with B1 and/or B2 and/or C ratings is a fundamental requirement.
• Type Rating Proficiency: Demonstrated type rating on relevant Bombardier Business Aircraft, including Challenger 300s, Challenger 600s, and Global aircraft, is essential.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Up-to-date foundational knowledge of Appendix I to Part-66, along with a solid understanding of Part-M, Part-145, and other applicable aviation regulations.
• Practical Experience: A minimum of 6 months of relevant aircraft or component maintenance experience within any consecutive 2-year period is required. Experience on at least one aircraft type for each licensed (sub)category within the last two years is also crucial.
• Human Factors Expertise: Knowledge and practical application of human factors, human performance, and limitations are highly valued. Familiarity with EWIS and CDCCL, where relevant, is also a significant advantage.
• Continuous Professional Development: A commitment to remaining current with all training requirements, including recurrent and continuation training.
• Technical Acumen: The ability to expertly interpret and work with engineering drawings, and a high level of proficiency in using standard and special tools, as well as operating ground support equipment.
• Problem-Solving and Communication: Strong analytical skills to identify and rectify defects according to maintenance data, and the ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal forms regarding individual tasks and aircraft status.
• Technological Aptitude: Proficiency in using information systems and general computer skills.
