  • Hands-On Technical Expertise: This role offers extensive practical experience. You will be directly involved in:
    • Performing maintenance and repairs on specific engine series (1600, 4000), with opportunities to support other business units.

  • Teamwork & Collaboration: Fostering a positive work environment is paramount. You'll work collaboratively with colleagues, contributing to a culture of mutual support and shared success.

Considerations for Your Career Path:

  • Foundational Mechanical Skills: A solid understanding of mechanical principles and hands-on experience in maintenance and repairs is crucial. An NVQ Level 3 in Maintenance/Engineering is a strong indicator of the required skill level.

  • Physical Demands: Be aware that this role is physically demanding. You should be prepared for the necessary manual handling and operation of plant machinery.
  • Responsibility & Accountability: Taking ownership of your tasks, ensuring timely and accurate completion, and managing your workload effectively are key expectations.
  • Communication & Teamwork: Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to foster a positive and collaborative environment are highly valued.
  • Driving & Additional Skills (Preferred): While not strictly mandatory as training is provided, experience with forklift/tow truck and crane operation, along with a full, clean UK driving license and UK passport, would be advantageous.
