A key aspect of this position is fostering a strong, collaborative relationship with your dedicated Finance Business Partner, facilitating seamless two-way communication regarding actuals, forecasts, and budgets. You'll thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment, consistently delivering timely and accurate financial information. Furthermore, you will be responsible for uploading and submitting the Group Reporting Pack via OneStream, and as a valued member of the Operational Accountant team, you'll actively contribute to developing best-practice finance processes to standardize operations across the UK and EMEA regions. This role is integrated within a team of Operational Accountants, requiring flexibility and a willingness to support other areas and act as a versatile resource.

  • Strategic Collaboration: Develop robust relationships with Finance Business Partners, offering valuable insights and influencing financial decision-making.
  • Process Improvement Contribution: Actively participate in the development and standardization of best-practice finance processes, impacting operations across multiple regions.
  • System Proficiency: Enhance your expertise in SAP FICO systems, a highly sought-after skill in the finance industry.
  • Hybrid Work Model: Benefit from a flexible hybrid working arrangement, requiring 2-3 days per week in the office, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
  • Diverse and Inclusive Culture: Join an organization committed to diversity, inclusion, and ESG principles, with dedicated support for various life stages and individual needs.
  • Attractive Rewards Package: Receive competitive benefits from a FTSE-listed company, including an annual bonus, private medical cover, life assurance, a generous pension, and progressive family-friendly policies.

Key Considerations for Candidates:

  • Deadline-Oriented Environment: The role demands a high degree of organization and efficiency to meet tight month-end reporting deadlines.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Success requires strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships across different departments and in a matrix structure.
  • Adaptability and Teamwork: The need to support other areas and act as a flexible resource highlights the importance of being adaptable and a strong team player.
  • Analytical Skills: A solid understanding of financial analysis is crucial for ensuring accuracy, justifying variances, and contributing to forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Continuous Learning: The opportunity to contribute to process improvement signifies a need for individuals who are proactive in identifying opportunities for enhancement and driving best practices.
