The role
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Pathway Liaison Officer to support the University of Nottingham’s strategic partnership with the University of Nottingham International College (UNIC) and Kaplan Digital Pathways and other recruitment pathways. This is an excellent opportunity to join our new Global Partnerships Office team and play a key role in supporting international student success and partnership growth.
You will help ensure the smooth operational relationship between the University, UNIC and Kaplan, and other pathway partners such as UK and international schools and colleges by managing key data processes, supporting academic and professional services colleagues, and coordinating activities that help students progress successfully from pathway study into University of Nottingham degree programmes.
Working closely with the Pathway Liaison Manager, you will maintain strong and effective communication across teams, coordinate recruitment and engagement events, and contribute to quality assurance, curriculum alignment, and data-led decision-making.
What you will do
Build and maintain a central repository of pathway-related data, providing clear analysis to inform student progression and recruitment planning.Monitor registration trends, support financial review processes, and act as a key contact for pathway-related data queries.Coordinate academic collaboration activities, curriculum alignment discussions, and contribute to annual monitoring and review processes.Provide training and guidance to internal teams to ensure colleagues can respond confidently to pathway enquiries.Support meetings, governance activities and cross-university communications with pathway partners and relevant departments.Liaise with appropriate departments to ensure pathway students have required access to systems and services.Provide administrative support for marketing, recruitment, conversion and agent-facing activities linked to UNIC and other pathway partners.Contribute to data collection and insight gathering to inform strategic planning and joint board reporting.About you
We are looking for someone who is:
Highly organised, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.Confident with data – including collating, analysing and presenting information to support decision-making.An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across teams and organisations.Proactive, solution-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality administrative support.Experienced in working with confidential information, with an understanding of data protection and GDPR.You will bring considerable administrative experience, ideally within an education setting, and be confident using Microsoft Office and Excel. Experience working with international students, CRM systems, or event coordination would be beneficial.
