Your Role and Key Responsibilities:
The team is actively seeking a skilled Project Manager to spearhead global initiatives across Middle Office and Securities Settlements. These initiatives will span both Cash Equities and Fixed Income business lines and will encompass areas such as regulatory changes, strategic re-architecture, and continuous process improvement. Your responsibilities will include:
- Executing Project Management Frameworks: Develop and implement robust program governance and effective stakeholder management to drive successful planning and execution of projects.
- Proactive Risk and Dependency Management: Identify, prioritize, and proactively manage dependencies, risks, exceptions, and issues to ensure smooth project progression.
- Process Evaluation and Optimization: Critically evaluate end-to-end control processes, anticipate future requirements, identify areas for enhancement, and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and implement strategic solutions.
- Requirement Elicitation and Analysis: Lead ongoing reviews of business processes, developing optimization strategies for Target Operating Models, Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), User Stories, and Test Cases.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate with all stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and validate requirements for changes to control processes through workshops, working groups, and other forums.
- Independent and Collaborative Analysis: Analyze collected information in detail, working both independently and as a key member of the project team.
- Benefit Realization: Partner with sponsors to ensure the definition and tracking of tangible benefits and associated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Technology Collaboration: Work closely with technology teams to ensure clear delivery plans are aligned with Operations' strategic requirements and hold delivery plan owners accountable.
- Testing and Validation: Manage testing workstreams and drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT), collaborating with internal and external teams as needed.
- Reporting and Presentation: Develop and deliver compelling presentations to Markets Operations and business management, covering project and program status, plans, and outcomes.
- Training and Development: Contribute to the design and delivery of Operations training plans and materials, and deliver training to various group sizes.
What Citi is Looking For:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with processes within Securities products, such as Equities, Fixed Income, Securities Borrowing & Lending (SBL), or Prime Brokerage.
- Leadership in Working Groups: Experience running program working groups to discuss deliverables with SMEs and ownership of senior governance stakeholder meetings.
- Proven Improvement Delivery: Demonstrated examples of successfully delivering process improvements or control enhancements.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Prowess: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to clearly document findings and propose effective solutions.
- Exceptional Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate problems, capture team input, and drive towards resolution.
