This role is ideally suited for individuals with a strong academic foundation and a keen interest in health-related research. To thrive, candidates should possess:
- A PhD or equivalent qualification, or substantial relevant experience, particularly in areas such as health technology assessment, medical statistics, epidemiology, psychology, public health, or health promotion/education.
- Exceptional analytical abilities and the capacity for critical appraisal of complex data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for report writing and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrable skills and/or a solid understanding of evidence synthesis methodologies.
- Proficiency in standard office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and reference management tools.
While not essential, experience in the following areas would be a significant advantage:
- Familiarity with Health Technology Assessment (HTA) methods and processes, including NICE appraisals.
