The University of Lincoln’s Post Award Research Office (PARO) sits within the Research, Impact & Culture team, delivering direct support to researchers in the delivery of their externally funded research projects. Working closely with external funding bodies, the academic community and a range of internal and external stakeholders, the PARO plays a vital role in delivering research excellence, safeguarding external income and supporting the University’s civic and strategic mission.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a range of financial compliance-based and operational activities across a number of research projects currently awarded to Lincoln researchers.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for you to refine their project and financial management skill set and to increase your knowledge and experience of the UK research funding landscape.
You will lead the set up and reporting milestones required in line with a range of compliance guidance to assure external funding bodies of our capacity to deliver, building strong and wide-ranging connections with a variety of internal stakeholders. You will gain an insight into the exciting and internationally significant research activity being conducted within the university.
The post requires a confident and proactive leader with strong bid management, financial planning, and project delivery experience. Exceptional communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills are essential, alongside the ability to work independently and collaboratively across complex organisational structures.
