Research & Knowledge Exchange Administrator

Do you have the experience and skills to deliver a quality administration service to a portfolio of schools across our University?  If so, then we want to hear from you.

We are recruiting to the Research Administration team who support our research and knowledge exchange activities for our academic schools and our Centres of Research and Knowledge Exchange Excellence (COREs).  You will be part of a team providing support to a portfolio of Schools and/or COREs from across the University.  Activities will include servicing meetings, budget monitoring, processing financial transactions, support for events and communications including website, blogs and social media.

To be successful, you should have:

previous experience of working in an office environmentthe ability to work as part of a teamexperience of planning and prioritising a range of work activities, meeting sometimes conflicting work deadlinesgood communication skills, and able to communicate complex procedures and information clearly 

This post is advertised as fixed-term until end of September 2026, and is full-time (37.0 hours per week). We welcome applications from candidates seeking to job share.

This role is eligible for our agile working policy, meaning that you will be able to work a maximum of 60% of the time remotely (after an initial training period), however you will need attend the office on Wednesday.
