Key Responsibilities: A Day in the Life

In this role, you will be instrumental in:

  • Driving sales of Reinsurance Solutions products, consulting services, and analytics projects across the London Market and the broader UK & Ireland insurance sector.
  • Consistently achieving individual fee-based revenue targets, aligning with annual business objectives.
  • Executing and refining the go-to-market strategy for RDS Insurance in the UK&I region.
  • Building and nurturing robust relationships with both prospective and existing clients.
  • Conducting thorough client needs analyses to uncover opportunities across various channels.
  • Managing and developing a strong sales pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Presenting compelling sales pitches and product demonstrations that clearly articulate value propositions.
  • Leading negotiations and successfully closing deals to meet or exceed sales objectives.
  • Monitoring industry trends and competitor activities to identify emerging opportunities.
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of Swiss Re's intellectual property, technologies, products, and consulting capabilities.
  • Providing structured feedback to product and delivery teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Accurately maintaining CRM records and preparing comprehensive sales reports and forecasts.

Who You Are: The Ideal Candidate Profile

Swiss Re is looking for a proactive and experienced sales professional with a strong foundation in the insurance or financial services sector. Key attributes and experience include:

  • Sales Acumen: 5-8+ years of sales experience, with a preference for backgrounds in financial services, consulting, or technology solutions.
  • Insurance Expertise: Deep knowledge of the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry, encompassing underwriting, claims, risk management, and technology.
  • Proven Track Record: A strong existing network within the P&C sector and a demonstrable history of consistently achieving sales targets.
  • Proactive & Independent: Exceptional prospecting and lead-generation skills, coupled with a "can-do" attitude and the ability to execute independently while also taking direction.
  • Consultative Approach: Skilled communicator with a client-first mindset, adept at translating customer needs into effective solutions.
  • Influential Leader: Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and C-suite decision-makers.
  • Results-Driven & Collaborative: Motivated, results-oriented, and a strong team player who is comfortable making independent decisions within broader business objectives.

Compensation & Benefits:

The base salary range for this full-time equivalent position is between £72,000 and £108,000 GBP. The final salary offer will be determined based on the specific requirements, scope, complexity, and responsibilities of the role, as well as the applicant's qualifications, expertise, skills, and experience.
