ABOUT THE ROLE In addition to your contractual pay, any time worked between 18:00 - 22:00 will attract an Evening Premium at a rate of £3.50 per hour, and any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00 will attract a Night Premium at a rate of £4.50 per hour. This will also apply to existing Partners who have enrolled onto Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements. At a glance Salary range - Salary up to £54,300 per annum depending on skills and experience, with Overtime premium where required but not a guaranteed feature Contract type - Permanent Work Pattern - 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am- 4pm, with flexibility to cover operational needs. To cover Out of Hours calls as required including weekends Location - Leylands RDC Due to the nature of this role you will need to be Over 18 years old to apply What you'll be doing As a Section Manager at the Vehicle Workshop you will be responsible for managing the daily Workshop operation of the early, late and night shift Including technicians and a mobile technician ensuring that all vehicles are maintained to the appropriate Partnership standards. You will ensure that downtime is kept within the prescribed limits, workmanship produced meets the appropriate standards and that Health and Safety measures are in place and adhered to. You will also be responsible for the planning of the MOT and Service programmes for the HGV Fleet, vans and CDH Fleet. Essential skills you’ll need City & Guilds 1,2,3 Vehicle technician or equivalent qualification Experience in dealing with Health and Safety and Transport Legislation Demonstrated the ability to manage and lead engineering/industrial teams A proven background in commercial vehicle repairs and Maintenance Communicate effectively in both verbal and written Desirable skills Management or leadership experience Good interpersonal and IT skills CPC Transport Manager qualification You also can view a copy of the full job outline here: Internal applicants- please use the link below External applicants - please see the attachment Next Steps The application form consists of a CV upload followed by application questions.
