This is a compelling opportunity for a seasoned Security Engineering Manager to take a leading role in shaping and safeguarding a significant technology landscape. Reporting to the Head of Security Engineering, this position is instrumental in managing and evolving the organization's cyber security technology stack, ensuring robust protection against key cyber risks.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Strategic Capability Management: You will be responsible for the oversight and continuous improvement of a broad spectrum of critical cyber security capabilities. This includes, but is not limited to, SIEM, SOAR, CSPM, NDR, EDR/XDR, IDP, DAM, NAC, WAF, TVM, Email Security, Threat Intelligence Platforms, Security Validation Platforms, and Penetration Testing Platforms.
• Defining Future Needs: You'll play a key role in defining the requirements for these capabilities, working in partnership with Business Owners to identify and address any existing gaps.
• Shaping the Roadmap: Collaborate closely with Security Architecture colleagues to contribute to and define the future capability roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy.
• Innovation and Adoption: Support Proof-of-Concept (POC) projects by providing expertise, assisting with testing, and contributing to business case creation. You'll be accountable for the successful deployment and adoption of security capabilities across diverse environments, including IT infrastructure, hybrid cloud, applications, OT, and IoT.
• Service Excellence: Uphold robust Service Management for all cyber security capabilities, adhering to defined frameworks such as ITIL.
• Driving Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by collaborating with Business Owners (e.g., SOC, Threat Intelligence) and suppliers to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement within the demand funnel.
• Supplier Management: Proactively manage incidents and issues with suppliers, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Trusted Advisor: Become a recognized expert within the organization, identifying potential risks and delivering innovative, technology-based solutions.
