• Oversee the finance function for a dedicated portfolio of captive insurance clients.
• Conduct thorough reviews of management accounts, financial statements, and group reporting packs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain and manage accounting systems, ensuring seamless operations.
• Develop and produce essential financial tools, including budgets, forecasts, and insightful ad hoc reports and analyses.
• Prepare high-quality Board papers and actively present findings at Board and client meetings, both on and off-island.
• Actively participate in client, board, and other relevant meetings.
• Provide strong support to team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
• Manage day-to-day treasury functions with precision and foresight.
• Professionally handle group queries and maintain strong, proactive communication with clients.
• Stay ahead of the curve by continuously updating your knowledge of relevant accounting standards and financial products impacting clients.
• Cultivate and nurture robust internal and external client relationships.
• Collaborate with your line manager to enhance client revenue and profitability, identifying opportunities for additional revenue generation.
