Senior Placements Administrator

This is a full time, permanent position.

The Placement Service Office at Bishop Grosseteste University is seeking applications from experienced and highly motivated administrators with a passion for providing an excellent service to all stakeholders. Reporting to the Placement Service Manager, and working within a very busy team you will be a regular point of contact for students, local schools and community settings, as well as management and academic staff across the whole of BGU’s Academic Faculty.

Senior Placement Administrators are involved in the planning and securing of suitable placements which must comply with the requirements of the course and the needs of the student. The successful candidate will manage these differing requirements for cohorts of up to 200 students at a time, with many overlapping projects and deadlines.

Applicants should possess significant experience of working in a very busy office environment whilst working under pressure and managing competing deadlines. It is also necessary to have experience of maintaining positive relationships with external and internal contacts and to have effective and accurate office and administrative skills including efficient use of databases.
