Bishop Grosseteste University (BGU) is located on a beautifully green and pleasant campus just a few minutes’ walk from Lincoln Cathedral, Castle, and the old Roman city. Since then, we've grown, adapted, and modernised to become the thriving university we are today. We're still experts in teaching and education, but we've now got a wider portfolio of exciting degree courses than ever before. We currently offer courses in a wide range of subjects, from Undergraduate Degree level to PhD, and much more in between.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Student Recruitment Officer (Widening Participation) to join our Student Recruitment Team. The role will develop a network of schools and colleges to undertake, co-ordinate and administer activity to promote BGU and Higher Education. This role is a split role between Student Recruitment and Widening Participation. The Student Recruitment responsibilities will include attending National Recruitment fairs, Schools and Colleges to advertise BGU and our courses. The Widening Participation responsibilities includes delivering workshops in schools and on the university campus, promoting Higher Education to students from backgrounds less likely to consider Higher Education as an option. The role will also support with the administration and running of our Ambassador Programme.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who likes variety in their role and working with people.
