Student Retention & Success Manager

The Student Retention and Success Manager within the Student and Academic Services Directorate will develop, lead and manage the Student Retention & Success Team. The role will support the implementation and enhancement of the University’s attendance policy and associated procedures. The post will lead a team of 8, with direct line management of 3 Senior Student Retention and Success Officers, to deliver effective student attendance monitoring and retention interventions which support our strategic aims around student continuation and success.

We are seeking an accomplished and enthusiastic leader who will develop positive working relationships with colleagues across the Directorate as well as with Faculties, other Professional Services areas and Greenwich Students' Union (GSU). You will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring that the team works in a collaborative manner with all stakeholders. You will have strong analytical skills and a commitment to supporting student retention and success.

The post is based at our Greenwich campus. Occasional travel to our Avery Hill and Medway Campuses is expected.
