Key Responsibilities and What You'll Do:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain detailed production schedules that align with customer demand, inventory levels, and site capacity, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Inventory Optimization: Proactively manage inventory levels within agreed thresholds, adeptly handling fluctuations in demand and supply to minimize waste and maximize availability.
  • Agile Response: Skillfully adjust and communicate production plans in response to operational challenges or unforeseen circumstances, demonstrating resilience and problem-solving prowess.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Forge strong partnerships with Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing, and Quality teams to ensure seamless alignment and operational excellence across the board.
  • System Proficiency: Leverage ERP/MRP systems, including SAP, to effectively manage and monitor production schedules and inventory data.
  • Forecasting and Capacity Support: Contribute to accurate forecasting and capacity planning activities, driving informed decision-making.
  • Waste Reduction: Effectively manage slow-moving and obsolete stock through in-depth analysis and the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, supplier performance, and stock availability to foster a culture of ongoing enhancement.
  • Safety and Compliance: Actively uphold and promote Health & Safety and Quality standards, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.

What You'll Bring to the Table:

  • Proven Expertise: Demonstrable experience in production scheduling, supply planning, and inventory control is essential.
  • Manufacturing Acumen: Experience within a manufacturing and multi-site supply chain environment is highly valued.
  • SAP Proficiency: A strong command of SAP ERP and MRP-based systems is a requirement for success in this role.
