The Headteacher & Governing Body are seeking to appoint, from 1st September 2025, a highly skilled and experienced teaching assistant with a minimum of a BTEC National Diploma Level 3 or equivalent.
The role can be varied and as such could entail providing one to one support for pupils with high needs, general support within the classroom and will encompass learning and pastoral support. Having the confidence to manage and support children with Special Educational Needs and disabilities is essential, as is showing the initiative and commitment to adapting to the individual needs of children.
The successful candidate will be able to work as part of a team, initially in Foundation Stage One to provide a stable, calm, caring and supportive learning environment in which pupils can achieve. We require an enthusiastic, resilient and motivated individual with a passion for supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. You should have excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment to young people, their welfare, education and personal development. You will act as a role model to our pupils. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am until 1.15pm.
