Aon is looking for a Reinsurance Technical Account Advocate with IBA/Credit Control experience, to join our team in London. The role is essential in creating a culture of continuous improvement using process excellence and contributing to the broader success of the Broking Sales, Client Services, Claims Advocacy and Fiduciary Teams.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both in our London office and remotely from home.

What the day will look like

As a Reinsurance Technical Account Advocate you will work in the Client Services team and will be responsible for Technical Accounting related matters to Aon Reinsurance Solutions colleagues for a new initiative Facultative Global Access to Aon Credit Treaty. This is an important role, and you will be expected to engage with the different Aon Global business teams, Operations, Client Services, Fiduciary Accounts and our Outsource Provider.

Provide support on technical accounting related matters to Aon Reinsurance Solutions colleagues for a new initiative Facultative Global Access to Aon Credit Treaty.Supervise the payable Global Position for Fees that are due to Aon UW Managers and One Underwriting.Engage with different Aon Global Facultative business teams, AUM, Operations, Client Services, Fiduciary Accounts and our Outsource Provider.Provide support on Funding, UCB, Funds Held and Outstanding Cash reports and follow up / escalate where appropriate in a timely manner to ensure Aon’s Working Capital and Free Cash Flow position is reducing as per the targets set.Assist with reconciling incoming reinsurer statements from Lloyds Syndicates.Perform any other ad hoc tasks as defined and agreed upon with the Executive Accounts Advocate.Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies and procedures. Completion of required training and keenness to adopt coaching or mentoring to allow their own professional development.Proficient analytical, numerical and information gathering skills. Determines pertinent information required by management to make effective decisions. Ensures that the gathering, processing, distribution and use of this information occur in a timely, accurate and cost-effective manner.

Skills and experience that will lead to success:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in IBA/Credit Control or a Finance Role, including Some technical knowledge of the (re)insurance industry preferableGood working knowledge of Microsoft applications, with focus on high quality Excel skills.Great analytical and problem-solving skillsKeen to adopt coaching and/or mentoringExcellent interpersonal skills, including communication across all levels and presentation skills.Ability to create and develop long lasting relationshipsDemonstrate integrity and professionalism.
