About the roleAre you looking to support an exciting period of change in higher education? The University of Sunderland is seeking a dedicated Timetable System Implementation Senior Administrator to assist with the implementation of our new timetabling solution. This role offers the chance to contribute to key improvements across the timetabling and awards team as we introduce new timetabling, examinations, room booking, attendance monitoring, and graduation software.
As the Timetable System Implementation Senior Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of the new EventMAP system. You will take responsibility for completing assigned implementation tasks, carry out end-user testing across timetabling, examinations, room booking, attendance monitoring and ceremonies modules, and maintain accurate documentation and data throughout. Working closely with the Timetable System Implementation Coordinator and the wider project team, you will help translate existing processes into more efficient ways of working, identify improvements, and contribute to system training. Your contribution will be essential in ensuring a smooth transition to the new system and supporting an enhanced experience for both staff and students.
This is a fixed-term contract for 2 years.
What you can bringThe ideal candidate will have previous administrative experience, preferably within higher education or a similar environment. You will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple tasks. Good communication, problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to support colleagues through change are essential to this role.
