Position: Transformation Performance Analyst

This position is at the nexus of Finance and Transformation, making it an ideal platform for a commercially astute individual with exceptional analytical capabilities, a recognized finance qualification, and a genuine enthusiasm for performance enhancement and change management.

Key Responsibilities and Opportunities:

  • Financial Oversight: Provide rigorous financial control and insightful analysis across the British Airways Transformation Programme, encompassing benefit tracking, forecasting, and investment performance analysis.
  • Insightful Reporting: Develop and maintain accurate, comprehensive, and compelling reports using our dedicated transformation tracking tool and other sophisticated financial systems.
  • Strategic Forecasting: Contribute to the development of advanced forecasting models, including sophisticated scenario planning and driver-based forecasting techniques.
  • Value Realization: Partner closely with key business units to monitor critical transformation KPIs, meticulously assess value creation, and ensure seamless alignment with overarching business performance processes.
  • Deep-Dive Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses to uncover the underlying drivers of performance, identify potential challenges, and champion opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare and present insightful performance reports and communications to senior leadership, including impactful materials for the IAG and BA executive teams.
  • Proactive Issue Resolution: Identify and support the proactive resolution of cross-functional dependencies and emerging issues to ensure the transformation programme remains on track and achieves its objectives.

  • A solid grasp of financial reporting and management accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel and PowerPoint; experience with tools like SAS, SQL, or Essbase is a significant advantage.
  • Experience working within a large, complex, matrix organization is highly beneficial.
