In the UK the Freightliner Group operates under a number of legal entities including Freightliner Group Ltd, Freightliner Heavy Haul Ltd, Freightliner Ltd, Pentalver Transport Ltd, and Pentalver Cannock Ltd. Communicate with the Road Team to identify commercial opportunities. Acceptance of Road bookings from Contract Manager, Ports and Customers direct. Accurately input booking information into relevant IT systems. Book & Administer all VBS Transactions while liaising with the driver network. Assist with telephone bookings and enquiries and preparation of Road Transport requirements are met. Maintain contact with customers and Transport team of customer needs and special requirements. Maintain good customer relations through regular communications. Produce and maintain Key Performance Indicators as required with accurate concise information. Maintain systems to achieve company quality targets and standards. Ensure that all ratings are input into the Tops Road System, also ensuring that all miscellaneous charges such as demurrage etc are captured. Collate, file and provide proof of deliveries ( POD’S) to customers and Contract Managers as requested. Ensure all documentation (delivery notes etc.) regarding container movements by road are prepared and available in good time for collection by drivers. Retrieve information from relevant IT Road / Yard Systems as necessary.
