Job title: Terminal Coordinator (Nights) Location: London Gateway (Stanford-le-Hope) Position Type: Permanent, full-time Hours of work: 50 hours per week, night shift The role As a Terminal Coordinator you will be responsible for dealing with incoming and outgoing customer service requests, including but not limited to; depot related queries, shunt planning and delivery, Reefer related enquiries, bonded storage requests. Key responsibilities Handling all customer queries, including communications with shipping lines and customer claims. Complete administration for yard and shunting services. Preparing reports for customers detailing stock and repair information. Plan & issue shunts to ensure all containers moved within relevant time frame Process Bonded requests in and out of the depot. Controlling internal tug access within the Gate Management System / VBS for both Freightliner and external bodies ensuring all shunts are completed as per plan. Liaise with senior managers to plan VBS slots and to action their instructions. Plan and book VBS for both Pentalver and Port movements ensuring no missed bookings. Plan, action, and deliver all Reefer related queries, liaising with Terminal MSO to plan reefer settings & Genset releases. Requirements: Attention to detail. Strong team player. Demonstrate a strong customer service focus. Ideally have the knowledge of container ISO standards. Please note that due to the location of the site, it is only accessible by own transport.
