About the role
In this role, you will have an operational management role in the management of teaching, learning and student support for Undergraduate education in the School of Medicine across the Nottingham, Derby and Lincoln sites. You will lead a small team of course administrators and will directly contribute to operational planning and delivery for teaching and learning. Responsibilities include overseeing and contributing to the administration of curriculum, delivery of teaching and learning resource management and student support relating to non-clinical phases.
This post will be offered on a permanent contract. Hours of work are full time (36.25 hours per week).
About you
Candidates are expected to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including drafting complex documentation, presenting, etc; excellent IT and data literacy; excellent organisational and time management skills; proven ability to interpret and advise on complex guidelines and policy; and initiative, resourcefulness, and problem solving skills.
Knowledge and experience of teaching and learning in Higher Education, change management and project management skills, negotiation, motivational and influential skills and line management experience are essential.
Candidates should have a relevant degree or professional qualification, or equivalent, plus hands-on experience in a similar or related role, or a proven track record of extensive relevant work experience, demonstrating practical and theoretical knowledge in field.
