VP Product Manager, FX E-Trading

Role Overview

The FX business intends to hire a product manager to drive the delivery of quantitative products, in particular focused on the STIRT business. This role will sit within the E-Trading Product team, reporting to the E-Trading Product Manager for Pricing. They will work in very close collaboration with the Head of STIRT, the STIRT trading teams, E-Trading and STIRT quant teams, and our colleagues in Markets Technology.

What youll do

The role will focus on our STIRT offering, and in particular on planning and executing on our high level strategic objectives for the business. These include supporting our efforts towards improving curve construction, increasing usage of market data, market connectivity, client pricing, and risk management, across G10 STIRT and LM STIRT products.

These objectives must be achieved within the broader context of delivering algorithmic logic in a safe and controlled manner, while making progress towards deprecation of legacy components.

An additional key responsibility for this hire will be to work with seniors in MQA in planning their teams output and ensuring that delivery is aligned with associated tasks being undertaken by teams in Technology.

The role will require specific, domain level experience within the FX swap and STIRT area, strong business analysis and/or project management background, and very strong interpersonal skills. This domain experience can be obtained on the job, but a broad understanding of markets would be useful.

The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of STIRT business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning. You will also be required to:

Provide direction and technical leadership on complex, high-impact projects and in all phases of the development and implementation process, ensuring essential procedures are followedProvide evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated and unique situations and contribute to formulation of standards and strategies for own area and other functional areasResolve issues that have impact beyond own area and apply in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areasWork as a team to achieve objectives and negotiate with internal and external partiesAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
