Key Responsibilities and What You Will Do:

  • Strategic Assurance: Act as an independent QA partner, collaborating with global audit teams and IA support functions to ensure the correct application of the IA methodology.
  • Quality Enhancement: Provide critical assurance over the quality of internal audit work through formal QA products such as scorecards, thematic reviews, and issue validation.
  • Continuous Improvement Champion: Drive initiatives to enhance the IA and QA functions, fostering a best-in-class operation by sharing best practices and lessons learned.
  • Methodology Development: Contribute to the ongoing refinement of IA and QA methodology and coverage, including the development and delivery of training to auditors.
  • Innovation and Projects: Participate in ad-hoc projects, research, and the development of QA-specific training, as well as assist in reviewing and improving global IA methodologies and practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key IA stakeholders, supporting communication efforts through regular meetings.
  • Deadline Management: Effectively manage multiple priorities and meet stringent internal and external (e.g., regulatory) deadlines.

What We're Looking For in a Candidate:

  • Audit Expertise: Previous experience in Internal Audit or External Audit is essential.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Strong knowledge across areas such as Project Management, Relationship Management, Risk Management & Controls, and relevant Regulatory and IA Standards.
  • Analytical Acumen: Demonstrated ability in rigorous analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
  • Communication Skills: Consistently clear and concise written and verbal communication is paramount.
  • Professionalism: Unbiased approach in a diverse environment, effective negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in report writing and a keen attention to detail.
  • Soft Skills: Adaptability, flexibility, initiative, empathy, continuous learning, and accountability are highly valued.
  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications such as CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA, or similar, are preferred.
