Scope and Purpose

To provide support for steering committee meetings as well as preparing management information, reports, AML related policies and procedures; To follow up audit recommendations in relation to the Financial Crime matters of London Branch; To provide advice and guidance in relation to Financial Crime matters and performing 2nd line oversight over client onboarding and reassessment KYC activities performed by the 1st line.

Required Experience

5-10 years of experience in the role is required

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

Graduate level education University degree in law, finance and/or economics Qualification in banking, regulation, risk governance, law or financial crime (ICA, ACAMS) English fluent (both written and spoken) Proven knowledge of Anti-Financial Crime frameworks, policies, procedures and processes (AML, ABC, Sanctions, PEPs. etc.) Corporate and investment banking business knowledge of financial institutions, correspondent banking and trade finance products and services Management of information and reporting Advanced user on Excel and other Microsoft Office capabilities, particularly in Word and Power Point.
