Key Responsibilities and What to Expect:
This Finance Administrator role is integral to the smooth functioning of the Finance Operations Shared Services Team. You will be working in close collaboration with management and colleagues across various departments, acting as a key facilitator for driving accuracy and efficiency. - Operational Support: Provide essential support to the Finance Operations Shared Services Team, ensuring seamless operational efficiency and strict adherence to established processes, in conjunction with your colleagues.
- Transactional Management: Administer a variety of financial transactional processes, meticulously recording and reconciling all entries to maintain absolute accuracy.
- Refund Validation: Conduct thorough reviews of customer refunds, validating their accuracy and ensuring strict compliance with company procedures.
- Audit Assistance: Play a crucial role in the collation of documentation required to support audit requirements, demonstrating your commitment to transparency and compliance.
- Performance Monitoring: Assist in the monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for the team, contributing to ongoing improvement efforts.
- Credit Control Support: Where necessary, provide valuable assistance to the Credit Control function by monitoring sales ledger balances and proactively resolving account issues.
- System Accuracy: Ensure all credit control and associated system records are consistently accurate and up-to-date, reflecting meticulous attention to detail.
- Bank Transaction Posting: Assist with the posting of bank transactions to ledgers and maintain the ongoing accuracy and completeness of these ledgers.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Effectively liaise with care homes and Regional Directors to ensure prompt resolution of queries and outstanding issues, fostering strong working relationships.
- Departmental Cover: Provide essential cover for other department members during periods of absence, showcasing your flexibility and commitment to the team.
