The Opportunity:

This hybrid role offers the flexibility to blend remote work with in-office collaboration, allowing you to optimize your work-life balance. You will play a pivotal role in executing Aon's sales strategy for Global Benefits, reporting directly to the EMEA GB Leader and the Global Chief Commercial Officer for GB. Your primary focus will be on expanding our client base by identifying and securing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities and Advantages:

  • Drive New Business Acquisition: Lead targeted efforts to secure new logo opportunities for Global Benefits sales, leveraging Aon's extensive network to fuel new business growth. This offers a chance to be at the forefront of innovation in the benefits space.
  • Pipeline Development: Create and nurture a robust sales pipeline, demonstrating your strategic approach to market penetration.
  • Strategic Client Engagement: Manage targeted client lists across the UK & Nordics, fostering meaningful connections through email, social media, and in-person interactions to generate valuable leads for our consulting teams. This is your chance to build impactful relationships.
  • Intellectual Capital Management: Organize and disseminate Aon's valuable intellectual capital, including surveys, whitepapers, and marketing materials. This empowers you and your colleagues with the resources needed to effectively connect with targeted clients, positioning you as a knowledgeable advisor.
  • Client Relationship Building: Proactively address internal and external client needs, establishing strong relationships that drive sales opportunities and contribute to client success.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage regularly with internal Aon business practice leads and sales channels, ensuring a cohesive and powerful client offering.

What Will Lead to Your Success:

  • Extensive Experience: A minimum of ten years of experience in global benefits or large market health sales is strongly preferred. This demonstrates a deep understanding of the industry and a proven track record.
  • Consultative Excellence: Exceptional consultative skills are essential for understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Client-Centric Approach: High-quality client interaction and comprehensive sales/marketing acumen are key to building trust and driving results.
  • Commitment to Learning: A proactive attitude towards participating in training and staying current with key global benefit consulting topics and research will ensure you remain at the cutting edge of the industry.
  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent years of industry experience will provide a strong academic and practical basis for this role.
