We are looking for a highly organised and proactive HR Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of a range of strategic and tactical projects within HR Operations and the wider HR department. This role is central to progressing our HR Strategy and operational delivery plans, supporting continuous improvement, and delivering solutions to organisational challenges and opportunities.
Reporting to the Deputy Director of HR (Operations), you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of complex HR projects, ensuring delivery against agreed cost, time and scope parameters. Working with diverse stakeholder groups, you will put in place robust plans, resources, governance, and risk and issue management to ensure successful project outcomes. In this role you will:
Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of HR projects aligned to our wider HR strategy and operational delivery plansManage project delivery to agreed scope, timelines, and budgetsDevelop clear project plans, ensuring effective governance, risk and issue management, and resource allocationOversee progress, track interdependencies, and identify opportunities for improvement or risk mitigationWork closely with a wide range of stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact and promoting strong collaborationProvide regular progress updates and reports through appropriate channels, including to the Deputy Director of HR (Operations)About you
You’ll combine strong project management expertise with a solid understanding of HR operations.
You will have:
Proven experience of leading strategic projects and change management initiatives, working using a formal project management methodology or framework within a large complex organisationExcellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and demonstrate flexibility while working on multiple concurrent projects or activitiesExcellent relationship management, communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to engage, influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levelsExcellent strategic thinking and analytical problem solving skills, with the ability to recommend practical solutionsWhy this opportunity?
