You will be at the forefront of ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the Health and Safety department, providing crucial administrative support to Health and Safety Advisors. Your responsibilities will be diverse and engaging, including:

  • Providing comprehensive administrative assistance to Health and Safety Advisors.
  • Managing and responding to a range of internal and external queries, offering advice and expertly resolving issues.
  • Playing a key role in coordinating the Health and Safety training programme, from logistical arrangements like room bookings and catering to scheduling on the University's internal short courses website.
  • Assisting with budget monitoring and the processing of purchase orders.
  • Maintaining and updating important databases.
  • Supporting the execution of various events and projects within the department.
