What the day will look like / Major responsibilities:

Presentation creation: develop and refine clear and articulate client offerings, including outstanding market analysesDevelop and refine financial models for the evaluation of certain securities transactionsProject management: assist in structuring and placing catastrophe bonds or other insurance securitizationsTransaction documentation reviewSupport cross functional strategic projects and represent Aon Securities as a reliable partner and constant innovator in industry meetings, conferences and client presentationsMaintain a comprehensive view of the market to educate and liaise with Aon colleagues and potential clientsMaintain market database information and create tools to communicate Aon’s market viewsDevelop deep knowledge of the overall insurance and reinsurance industry.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

2 to 5 years insurance linked securities, property reinsurance and / or debt capital markets experienceStrong understanding of financial concepts, analytics, math and statisticsAbility to flourish in a small, high pressure and intense work environmentAdvanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint is required, and experience with stochastic modelling concepts and output is preferredExperience manipulating and representing data setsKnowledge of and interest in the (re)insurance market, capital markets and understanding of the concepts and trends in the global financial marketsExcellent writing and communication skills, ability to write and deliver clear, concise and coherent presentations and written responses to Requests for Proposals
